In this Hatha yoga class I am following the tradition of Swami Sivananda. The balanced program of strengthening and stretching through physical exercises, relaxation by breathing techniques and meditation enhance the physical and mental well-being.
During the execution of the Asanas (yoga postures) we have a constant focus on inner feeling and breathing to deepen both perception of movement and stillness.
This makes it possible to relax our mind while we improve the physical strength and flexibility.
Asana options will be provided for beginners, intermediate and advanced students to make the lesson challenging for everybody. With Pranayama (breathing exercises) we stimulate the body and help to control the mind and thoughts in the postures. We always complete the lesson with a deep relaxation and meditation to achieve optimal benefits of the Asanas. Instead of being exhausted you will leave the class with a higher level of energy, a relaxed mind and a great sensation of strength and flexibility in your body.
Yoga is for everybody; no matter if you are an absolute beginner or you already achieved a high control of your body and mind. Through the oneness of movement and breath you will learn to reconnect to your real self which is bliss and inner strength.
